If you like traditional flea markets with antiques and other cool stuff you should visit Kolo in the Wola district. It`s open only on Saturdays and Sundays between 6:00 am – 3:00, and it’s easily accessible by tram.
You will meet here many old school looking older men with mustaches. They often use slang that is slowly dissapearing from our streets. This is what we call local folklore.
You can find lots of furniture, paintings, military items, old postcards, coins, vinyls, porcelain, glass – everything from tacky stuff to real treasures. If you speak English they may try to give you a higher price but don`t be shy about negotiating. They usualy don`t speak English but you can write down your offeror use your hands. Sometimes walking away is a good tactic in getting them to accept your offer.
